Does anybody still read these?

So I've been seperated from my beautiful recording equipment for about three months now. Been living at a friend's house (and Calgary) while my house gets finished. And tomorrow I finally get to move into the house, so I'll be recording more ( Read more... )

Very busy last few months. I've been jamming with a few friends and have performed (sort of) in two places so far doing covers of a bunch of songs ranging from the Chili Peppers to Limp Bizkit to Foo Fighters and even Blur. Acoustic-orientated double feature this time, a slight break from the standard verse-chorus-bridge format.

Of the new tracks I've previewed, this one seems to have been the most liked. After 4 or 5 years of guitaring, however long it's been, I finally decided to purchase a Capo. This track is done with the capo waaaay up on the 5th fret giving it that rather rich and clear sound of high strings. Also, I've decided to try a gauge I haven't played yet. I ( Read more... )

The heart and soul of this track were conceived exactly one month ago today. Recorded shortly after getting back from New York and it was actually "performed" on a classical 6-string. Acoustic sounds better.
