So this House was extremely action packed, but I won't touch the PotW because it still makes me ill. House nearly dies time # 239874234. It must be Monday.
Dude, I have very few non-Huddy people on my f-list, so uh... THANK YOU. THANK YOU FOR POINTING OUT HOW GROSS AND MESSED UP AND NOT TRUE LOVE FOREVER THAT SEX WAS! Ugh. If I was a Huddy fan I'm pretty sure I'd be pissed at how underdeveloped it all was. Then again, I'd never be a Huddy, because the entire ship is way too contrived for me. Like, if they actually built it up, showed us a foundation for their love rather than just throwing in a comment about Cuddy having had a crush on him for 20 years, then maybe I'd like them. Maybe. But... no. Cuddy just comes across as utterly pathetic and pervy for wanting sex from him during his most vulnerable moment and DEAR GOD, WHAT HAVE THEY DONE TO HER CHARACTER? HOW ON EARTH ARE HUDDY FANS HAPPY ABOUT THAT? Just... does not compute. Ugh. And, I used to love Cameron with my whole soul, she was my favorite character, but they've pretty much ruined her too (although, I can't say that I'm too surprised that she kept her husband's sperm. I know this ep made the mistake of saying that
( ... )
Pshhhh. THERE IS NO TRUE LOVE FOREVER. ON House or FOR House. I just... does. Not. Compute. I mean, I ship House/Wilson, and I think they'll be BFFs forever until their wrinkly(er) and saggy and can't hear a damn thing (or until House's liver finally fails :C), but no. Happiness makes House miserable. This is canon. Even DS said he envisions House to ultimately end up alone as he always is, because that's WHO House is.
PLUS: House was arm deep in the toilet trying to get the Vicodin back. Toilet watery hands rubbing up and down my body = ew.
The thing is Cuddy didn't start OUT as a full character. She was this DO NOT MESS WITH ME admin who would trade barbs with House and leave. Then they just added all these cliches hoping it would 'flesh her out' and it failed. And they TOOK AWAY HER SPINE. And House doesn't respect her.
The magic of S1-2 was unbelievable. :C
I know this ep made the mistake of saying that she didn't know he was going to die,I figured it was one of those 'Cameron logic' things. She married him KNOWING he was

LOL Foreman/Cameron = Matt/Betty proxy done right to you?
Hahaha! YES! DEFINITELY!
Also, Cameron's annoyingness was somehow appealing to me. She was so naive but she believed the best in people and it crushed her soul when things weren't what she thought they were, and I guess I can relate to that a little too well. And, she was crushing on an old dude that she really shouldn't have been crushing on and SHE WENT FOR IT. Heart on her sleeve, knowing without a doubt what she wanted, knew how to get under House's skin, and even though I didn't always approve of her manipulative ways, it worked, because that was House's game, and it impressed him whenever she one-upped him. And I do feel like there was respect between House and Cameron, just... not enough. And House knew that Cameron was someone that he could fall in love with if he let his guard down, so he was intentionally cruel to her until Cameron finally gave up on him, which he wanted her to do but never thought she actually would so it hurt him. Oooooh, how I loved them

Flawed characters = ftw, and to me its proof of how good the actress was to make me believe this was a REAL person. Cameron's narrow-mindedness and over-reading FEELS real and makes me feel-- that means the writers are doing a bang up job.
Usually, the more a character is hated the more I'm inclined to love the character. :'D But that didn't happen with Cameron. IDK why.
I looooved this ep! It was beyond awesome))) And damn, Amber should stay there for good! I was sorry to see her die even though I never loved her character all that much, but when she returned in this freaky form, it was super-awesome! Alas, it affects House in such a way... This season made me a bit of a Huddy shipper, I'm afraid, but even I admit that House + night of vomiting = sex is very disturbing! But this ep had so much House/Wilson in it that I can forgive them this... House/Cuddy weirdness))))
CTB, Kutner, Cole, and somehow, Really Old Guy (I loved him!) were my ideal team. When I saw her as WILSON'S girlfriend I jumped up and down for joy. When she died I was like, numb, and it's stupid because SHE'S NOT A REAL CHARACTER. And even now, I LOVE her as House's sub-conscience (LOLOLOL House's subconscious is a woman), it sort of hurts because it's NOT Amber, it's House's conscience taking the form of Amber, and gahhhh.
I don't think I've ever seen House that scared. It was awesome! And I DL'ed the song for some masochistic reason because whenever I hear it I think of that scene.
I mean how is it possible for him to even get it up? Not just exhaustion, years of Vicodin abuse has side effects like that I think (other than the liver failure which also really sucks).
I'm waiting for Cuddy to become awesome again. I don't think it's ever going to happen though. And I'm sad, because she used to not be so unprofessional and weak. :C
Waaii~~~! I have watched, like, TWO episodes of House! Just TWO! But but but, somehow you made me want to go read House/Wilson fic! Why??????? *head dives into a new fandom*
THIS SHOW IS SO GOOD. OMG. I really really suggest watching from the beginning, not because it's important, it's just that S1 and S2 were the best IMO. It's still the best quality TV I'm watching at the moment: ACTING, warped humor, difficult/multi-layered characters. *g* Come on in! The fandom's great! Even if you watch and realize you're more in love with House/Foreman or Cuddy/Wilson or House/Janitor/EvilNurseBrenda (...actually I do crackship that *g*), I won't mind at all! Some of the fandom is kind of immature, but the people I know are great. :'D
For cracky H/W friendshippy goodness in all their glory I have this rec: Nuts by valerie_z; it's hilarious and SO HOUSE and Wilson. House is offensive but somehow you love him, and Wilson's WHYYYYYYY
( ... )
I saw an episode where an older lady got malaria or something. It was really cute because she had ordered a prostitute right before getting sick, and the prostitute actually hung around for the whole episode hmming and hawwwing over whether to leave or stay.
And and and, the other episode was a married couple. The lady kept falling asleep. And the couldn't diagnose her until the end of the episode, when she admited to having an affair.
That first one was hailarious! The other two were intense!! Surprise enema! Not sexy at all, and very touching. And sad. Thank you for the recs!
