It's shit. I haven't written anything in like a year and a half and it was for Naruto fandom. I started to write for Merlin and FFVII but my flash drive holding ALL my fic was lost and I was too emo for 90000 years to write anything after that. :|

Any suggestions you have I'd go ape shit over.

I like it, though. Ruby is the right mix of both human selfishness and otherworldly machinations, and Sam is broken, but trying to hold himself together. No suggestions needed.

I really believe that the first time was only because Ruby clearly had nowhere to go and the whole situation was so desperate, that Sam's guilt of Dean hating him for letting a demon in, got her in the Impala. Even if Sam eventually believed she's not all evil, I don't think he could take betraying Dean that way.

Don't know squat about Supernatural other than what I've picked up from fandom talk and your posts, but I really like this sentence: She drove or picked him up in whatever car she felt like having that day, and he never offered. Because the car's not the Impala, and she's not Dean. :DD

side note, just thought you might be interested in reading this article on Supernatural fanfic & the Dean/Sam relationship. :)

You really need to watch, it's a great show. The 'horror' factor is lacking most of the time (except for a few, but I have a phobia of clowns, so other people assuring me I wasn't lame for being so wigged out was comforting) but the unique mythology more than makes up for it, as do the characters of Dean, Sam, and how they relate to others in the "real" or "supernatural" world. Do you remember that really sad Calvin and Hobbes strip with the little raccoon? Yeah, Sam and Dean break my heart like Calvin's tearful "what a stupid world," the gen KILLS me. More than Sasuke and Naruto, which is saying something, and like Merlin can be poorly written at points, but the character dynamics more than make up for it and like Merlin the same addicting 'EPIC SERIES IS EPIC' feel won't let you go. It's no Buffy, but damn, in my book it comes close.

I just ate up that article like a greedy kid, that was fascinating! I don't really ship it in a sexual way, but there's a depth to their epic love that is definitely incestuous to me.

Oh man. D: How many seasons is it? I'm intimidated to try and watch all the eps so far. The Sam-Dean relationship does sound really fascinating, though; also, the guy who plays Castiel has really funny faces. :P

There are four seasons total, but don't let it intimidate you. There's a couple of people on my f-list that started DLing the eps this year and got caught up fairly quickly. I watched 1-3 last year when the 3rd season was running because I was sick with nothing but my roommates DVDs for company. :p

The Sam-Dean relationship does sound really fascinating,
It's in my top five for most emotionally evocative relationships ever. *___* Watching them go from awkward brothers trying to get to know each other again to kick ass team is really great.

guy who plays Castiel has really funny faces. :PThe angels make the most amusing faces, yes. Unfortunately as a rule they are dicks and kinda boring except when they're bad ass and Castiel is no exception to the ":|" or ">>>:|", but Mischa is the BEST. I saw him for the first time in the tv show 24 and when I realized it seeing him as a badass angel I laughed my ass off. As "Jimmy" (Castiel wears Jimmy's body it's.... kinda a long story. I love this. I like the quietness of the moment and the fact that it takes place pre season 4. I'm definately adding this to my favs.

I like to think that although Sam crashed and died along with Dean that summer (seeing how gone he was in IKWYD), sometimes it was a little less painful, and Ruby saw there was enough Sam still in there to fall a little in love with, and want, and be tempted by. As much as a demon can love anyway.
