Damn brain (Apologies for the sulk-post)

I think my brain is broken. I haven't written a word of fiction since December, and my brain is literally empty of muse. I've never had it like this before, normally there's lots of stories in there but no impetus to write if I'm blocked. I've not been so without muse since I was sixteen (possibly earlier...) It's pretty annoying ( Read more... )

Thankies for the recs. I'm plodding through The Continuum Deception atm.

Last year I used the Leveragexchange deadline to make me write the second chapter of Taking Care, and was planning on doing the same thing this year. But so far... nada. :( I'm going to have to start pushing a bit harder, I guess. *kicks story*

Hey, sorry life's so hard. I'm being eaten alive by School right now so I kind of get the utter lack of muse (and how painful it is)

Um... I found an awesome and affordable apartment for the summer but can't find work to pay for it so positive karma?

As for fanfic try one of my favorite Sherlock peices: Short Message Service The premise is that Sherlock and Not!Anthea are best friends... who have rarely if ever spoken to each other or communicated in any way except text and the occasional game of phone scrabble. It's amazingly amusing and wonderfully snarky.

Your apartment sounds cool - I love having a really nice place to go back to, I've been really lucky on flats wherever I've been so far. (Good luck on the work front!)

Thanks for the rec, sounds awesome. :D I'll go check it out.
