Just thinking politics aloud.
We, as a nation, have to get past the two party system if we ever want an effective government. All they do is strike bargains with each other, backdoor deals, take money from corporations, and when it comes time for elections tell us how independent they really are. There really is no choice. I was actually thinking earlier this morning about how fortunate I am that we had a lot of hard times growing up. I don't know how many times I had a dinner of popcorn or mashed potatoes. I am thankful for my lovely daughter. Even though she knows how to get under my skin so quickly, she is such a treasure that I wouldn't trade for the world. Thanks for being in my life Lily! -
Thankful
My wife, though she may not always understand me, I am very thankful for. I'll be honest, I don't really even know myself, so I don't blame her. She makes me want to do better though, and that's awfully great. Thanks, babe. :) -
