im probably gonna catch some shit for this - but im finding Anthony Bourdain's No Reservations to be one of my favorite shows on television. im not a fanboy, but how can i go wrong liking a chef/journalist who is a ramones/punk-loving ex-junkie that specializes in french cuisine and hate vegans. his ego is big, but what chef's isnt?

I love his show, always interesting stuff to watch and I love his anecdotes.

i think the show is done much better than most of the food/travel shows that get put on - i caught the one filmed in Ghana last night..it was amazing. he always respects the culture of his hosts, he thoroughly researches the places before he goes there, and hes not a little cutesy whiny television personality like most the others. i want to read some more of his work, havent got out to buy any yet.

Anything is better than Samantha Brown - I fucking hate her. But yeah I love that does those off the beaten path type places a lot and really does respect their cultures and ways of life. Good guy.
