the silence reflects my loneliness
like stars exploding in space
noone can hear you die
but you can see it a million miles away

I cant stand the silence any longer.
I listen to the helicopters crashing outside my window
it soothes my loneliness away

sometimes what you want most is the one thing you have to avoid for fear of what may happen if you persue it. theres always the chance you will achieve what you seek and in doing so find a better life. but if you dont, then it may be lost forever, extinguishing your hope, and leaving you worse off than before.
