Well, the protocol for updating the history is back up, but it's different now. As a result, almost everyone I've talked to (including myself) cannot download their histories using LochJournal. If you try, you may receive messages similar to the following while it tries to download ( Read more... )

my default account downloads the history just fine

my second account, however, gives the following error message:

"Servor error: Database error: You have an error in your SQL syntax near ') ' at line 1"

i don't know what that's all about

In addition to those errors, I'm also getting the following: (I hand copied this from the error popup)

sevenstar:
Server reports error:
Server error:Database error: You have an error in your SQL syntax near ') ' at line 1

When I click OK on that, I then got:

Access violation at address 01000000. Read of address 01000000.

My computer is running WinXP with service pack 1.
Celeron 1.1GHz, 128mb RAM. HP

Actually, I found a workaround for that; it downloads a certain amount (for me 200KB) before it resets. However, it actually does keep what it downloads. So if you quit LochJournal, restart it, and update again, you'll eventually get your whole history, in 200KB or so blocks. I had to do that 4 times but I got it all there.

it was 244KB for me... and thank you VERY much for this information, since NOW I have my entire history downloaded that I was not able to do before. This information should be passed on to the creator of said program, for, with this info, maybe they can better understand how to correct it.

Yeah, Brad changed it to do that.

It won't be fixed until the next version of LochJournal.
