I realized today that I left home with no intention of ever looking back. Visiting there the other day to acquire the remainder of my worldly possessions made me realize this even more. I hated that place. And it's finally over. Nervous? Perhaps. But I couldn't be happier.

It's good to know that such advances as mine are met with the utmost social wisdom. ;-)

Got a digital camera for Christmas. Was almost cancelled out by needing to sleep in the garage the following night, but just almost. So here's a picture for you.

And I thought I wasn't welcome here a month ago... now they've got me sleeping in the garage. Literally, on the floor, between the cars, in a sleeping bag. No pillows allowed; I used some balled-up clothes. No blankets either. I kinda don't want to do this anymore. Please let me know if I can sleep at your house.

It is difficult to describe the feeling of being unwelcome in one's own home. Coming home at night and finding all the doors locked. Being excluded from dinner, and hearing your family say Grace without you. Being generally ignored and despised.
