2. Though I know you love Faramir, I'm going to go with Eowyn, Shield Maiden of the Rohhirhim.
3. Mara Jade kicks all kinds of ass. But so does Grand Admiral Thrawn. Woot, Timothy Zahn!
5. Poledra. I mean, she was a frickin' wolf who figured out how to turn into a person. Easily the most badass character in the series. And certainly the one who moped the least. Durnik is cool, but my appreciation of the solid mentor figure with integrity is lessened by Eddings' cop out of "oh, well, now you're a sorcerer, too!". What's wrong with tough choices?
6. I think you're a Kaylee person, too, but I'm going to go with Jayne. I'm not sure why.

3. So I admit those were the first two that popped into my head, but I actually settled on someone else entirely. Not very good at picking favorites. :)
5. Hmmm. Those are both solid choices, especially Durnik. I think Beldin is cooler than Poledra, though, if we're talking peripheral characters.
