My friend John over at Mind on Fire is doing a group creativity experiment, so while I was collecting data at the lab I wrote a poem for today's theme, the Tarot Card Knight of Swords. (I wasn't sure whether "despite" scanned/rhymed with "delight" or "petsit" so I went with the former)

As I cross on crosswalks, I'll often thank the stopped drivers with a wave or a salute. My most consistent presence on the internet is my flickr account. Only the best photos make it up for viewing - well, that's the way it should be. In reality I have a hard time narrowing things down to that degree. I'll include a crappy shot because I like the subject matter, or a mediocre one where the execution didn't quite match the idea. Last night there was a commercial for washing machines with Felicia Day. She gives a sales pitch for a red washing machine (hah!) to a customer offscreen. The new Northanger Abbey adaptation that aired on PBS tonight was absolutely adorable. The four of us watching it were driven to "aww" more times than I can count. FanTAStic (and no saliva at the end!)
