Riding over the hills to Santa Cruz, 80 degrees, bright blue sky and sea, old redwoods... so gorgeous.

Sigh!

It kind of makes you feel like an insider when you go to the ballet and they perform a piece whose world premier you saw a few years ago.

A document I need to open is MS Word formatted and I don't have Microsoft Office on my computer. Now, if time was of the essence I could go down the hall, rouse my sleeping, flu-ridden roommate and use his computer. Or, head in to work or a computer lab and open it up there.
