Comics: Mina Harker... Much as I might be tempted to go with a less obvious character. <.< Generally got the idea of her from your responses, though. Able to lead, and you do lead, though you might not necessarily want to. You expect pain and try to deal with it as best you can. Love exists, yes, but isn't of strongest importance. General ideas on people seem fitting enough. Your adjectives also worked quite well... Open-minded? Abso-bloody-lutely. Intelligent? Certainly. Even passionate works under the correct circumstances. And... yes. You seem rather comics-Mina like. Strongbut with a marked reserve, able to take care of herself but not entirely ready to separate ehrself from everyone. Muy bien.
Movie: A bit more difficult, but I'll go with Allan Quatermain. Again we have the reluctant leader, here with a lack of prolonged interest in science. He's certainly adventurous, and passionate, as well. (Allan and the ladies, oh-ho!) Not frightened by death. The thoughts on people seem again to fit well enough. Realizes the pain that come

I seem to be echoing scytheandroses as I rate these, but I do put thought into these myself, too, lol. You do get Mina Harker from comics, though, if you want it. Mostly for the leadership answer.
In movies, which you requested, it's also Allan Quartermain, because of your adventurousness. For that you also get Tom Sawyer however, because you exude both the youthful exploration and a more light-hearted touch than what Sean Connery's Allan was in the films. They are sort of two sides of the same coin, father and son figures, so it's fairly logical someone should be both. I see Tom as the more passionate one at the moment, personally. Allan is the side of you that has learnt love is overrated, perhaps.
Thanks for your patience with the votes, I hope more people vote soon and go through these one by one, which is what I'm trying to do now.
