Time for some authentic tacos. The stuff we call a taco here, while yummy as hell, is so far from the real deal it's like using ketchup on spaghetti and calling it italian. I bought a round of white cheese at sams labled "authentic mexican" cheese.

It was the consistancy of drying playdoh and had little or no taste.
it was .............yicky and boring.

I dont know what the hell I wound up with - but I much prefer gouda!

lol see the problem with that is that there are literally dozens of authentic mexican cheeses. some mexican cheese is freaking nasty. I prefer their harder cheeses, since their softer cheeses tend to taste like feet smell.

Gouda is awesome. It's probably my favorite cheese to cook with, next to halloumi, which is neat because it doesn't melt.
