Computer advice pls

Help me, lazywebs! I'm building a new computer, but having never built from scratch before, I'm not sure about components. Please, those with such techie experience, to be reading and commenting?

Given the price difference on Ebuyer, I wasn't sure it was worth it. For £51, though...

If I were going to go with RAID, I'd choose RAID 0. As mentioned in reply to chrisvenus, I have well over a tera in USB storage, and a large proportion of my data is either local copies of stuff I have online, or installs from CD. And yes, shiny though it would be, RAID 5 is somewhat overkill :D

Please don't downgrade the PSU.

Consider this:-
If something goes melty on you it's apt to take out the things it's plugged directly in to. eg, CPU fries, might also take the motherboard with it.

If the PSU fries it can burn the entire machine and occasionaly your house.

It looks like you're putting together a machine to play high end games on.
If so. Go to it, Make the aliens miserable.
If this is a "do email, play a little solitaire and fiddle about with the odd game now and again" machine it's well over-specced.
