Eset update
Eset wants me to uninstall VoodooShield and Malwarebytes' Windows Firewall Control. It took some cajiggering to get around Windows' SRP and actually get Voodooshield uninstalled, but I'm fine with it as Voodooshield discontinued the free version and wants me to pay for the upgrade. Progress!
Surprisingly (to me) following the help desk suggestion of using the manual uninstall tool to clear remnants of prior installation attempts actually improved my situation, I think. Eset Internet Security still isn't installed but now, when I try to install with the MSI, I get an error saying that the Eset Service (ekrn) failed to start not that it ( Read more... ) -
Eset Internet Security still not installed, and now Windows is....
Help desk technician at Eset had me generate some more logs and upload them to Onedrive. I doubt it helped ( Read more... ) -
