Kari bought me Watchmen in its entirety. It's amazing. I highly recommend it to anyone who saw the preview and thought "What the hell?" only to find out that yes, Watchmen really was named to Time Magazine's Top 100 Novels of all time. I just saw The Dark Knight, and it was very good. Possibly fantastic. Utterly tragic. It is what Batman Begins almost was, and will be quite difficult to improve upon. However, watching it (technically, watching Heath Ledger as the Joker)-- that is, watching an actor totally inhabit a role, humanizing the inhuman-- it made me miss acting. I miss

I downloaded Weezer's Red Album today, and I must say- I'm quite impressed. It's very experimental (several songs feature other band members singing besides Rivers!), but the bonus tracks from the UK/US Deluxe edition are the best ones. Funny I suppose. I will put myself on a limb and say that the best track on the CD is "The Angel and the One",

Friday was my test. It sucked, really really bad. It was easily the hardest test I've ever taken, given both the time it took (8 hours) and the content (a woman has back pain; here is every single lab value you could ever get for her. Officially, I have one week until my board exam. This is pretty scary. However, I've been doing fairly well on practice tests, and I'm taking a test given by the National Board of Medical Examiners tomorrow, so hopefully it will portend good things. If not, I will probably cry
