I wanted to be a "normal" success with life instead of going somewhere scary to me.

You know, I understand that sentiment. This year (and the next I suspect) have been really scary because I actually have to get out there and do what I love. It's like my bluff has been called. Ah well, you can visit me in D.C. in ~year and a half. Also, when you make it to Broadway and/or Carnegie Hall (again!), I'll just be able to take the train up to NY to see you in all your fabulous glory. :)

I guess what I'm trying to say is that if you're going somewhere that's scary to you, then you're probably headed in the right direction. But you knew that.

Screw Broadway. I'm thinking more along the lines of either the Met, or Madison Square Garden.
