I forgot to congratulate my boys for their 1-0 win against Zenit St. Petersberg in the UEFA Cup last night. Despite EXTREMELY soggy conditions, we came through and are at the top of our group. We're doing much better in Europe than I thought we would. It's all good news.

I'm happy that the 80's have seen something of a return to coolness, musically, anyway (Excepting the Killers, Kasabian, etc...). I was listening to a podcast earlier today, however, and it was about legends of the guitar from the 60's and 70's attempting to acclimate themselves to the synth-sheen demands of the 80's market. Okay, it's been 74 hours, and it's not been easy, but I think I'm fine. I still really really WANT a cigarette all the time. But I don't seem to need one in a physical sense, and that's okay. I spent a lot of today in pubs and bars and gigs and whatnot, and I came through it okay. Getting home this evening and watching the Sopranos wasn't easy ( Read more... ) -
Sigur Ros=cop out?
I loathe feeling manipulated, but I can't help it when Sigur Ros is used in any from of film or advertising. First there was Njosnavelin off of ( ) from Vanilla Sky, which made that ending MUCH better than it deserved.
