So, as many of you know, it's been raining like crazy in Houston today. No big deal, usually. However, it seems we have sprung a leak in one of the oddest places. My medicine cabinet. Seriously, WTF?? (Is wishing livejournal had a perplexed emoticon.)

Hmm...I want to see the Watchmen movie, and at this point it seems like my only chance would be if I saw it with my family. However, I have just read about the one thing that will keep that from happening. Dr. Manhattan's giant blue dong. Yeah. That would be beyond awkward seeing with my family.

Welp, today was my last day at The Katy Times. Everyone else thinks that I'm just the first in a large round of layoffs, so I'm not too miffed. That, and I hated my job anyway. Here's hoping I find a better one.

And after approximately an hour, it is done. I am now posting off of my new computer. I love this thing already. The keyboard glows and I haven't had a problem from Vista yet. *goes back to staring at pretty keyboard*

Well, for those who didn't know, I had to take my computer in to Geek Squad several days ago because it was acting really odd. It turned out that it was infected with spyware so we had to pay a chunk for them to remove it. Really annoying, but my computer should be ready to pick up today.
