fantagraphics had wanted to do it considerably earlier than they did but had quite a bit of trouble finding acceptable copies of a lot of the first year's material to scan. (even still, though, there were tons of dreadful comic strips reissues in deluxe editions even before they originally announced wanting to do a collected 'pogo' that left me scratching my head a bit.) my only hope is that they sell better than the collected 'dennis the menace' (which only managed six or so volumes before low sales ground it to a halt.)
Perhaps a "book hangover" means somehow overindulging in literature? Maybe something like staying up all night devouring a book (rather than a bottle of whisky) and, thus, the next day is rough sailing. Also, hi!
that sounds plausible, in which case i've had a number of examples, the most recent being adam nevill's 'the ritual' which i found far too compelling a read to read as late at night as i did. also! hi!
