OMG food-gasm!!

I haven't cooked anything in at least a month, so I decided to try my hand at Mexican Pizza, complete with home-made enchilada sauce.  Two hours later (I made a pie, too) I am so full I'm not going to touch my pie tonight, and pleased to announce that it was a success.  Mmmm.

I love cooking. There is something strangely relaxing in the action; I wish I could decipher it.

I am jealous of you being in Madison because you can see the Pale Young Gentlemen at almost any given moment. I'm not crazy about their current album, but the previous (self-titled) one is really good. Modernized English music hall? Ish. It's good stuff, at any rate.

Yay! Food!

I roasted a cornish game hen yesterday and monday is my delayed Thanksgiving CDN (roast duck, mashed potatoes, cranberry sauce, sugar pie). Ii love having an oven to use.
