Give Ambrol credit, he never once used open claws and didn't even use his teeth for anything other than to pin him.
Ambrol has two other ideas for fixing Stark. He just isn't saying much cause Stark won't like them either. But if one of them work there's no long term stigma like bionics.
His accomplishment isn't getting hit. It's taking the hits for others and still standing.
Ambrol's getting a little nuts in his head too. Even almost tore into poor old Molly last game session.

If it involves the Flux realm, Stark would rather have bionics.
But getting hit doesn't make for great stories. Stark wants to get glory for defeating foes, not being a Garau Pinata.
