They make you fill out a questionnaire when they summon you for jury duty.  One of the last questions asks if serving on jury duty will cause undue hardship.  It has now been found that this answer will make sure they NEVER call you again ( Read more... )

I started working out in the pool on a regular basis a few weeks ago for the first time in 14 years.  First night did 1700 yards in an hour and was fairly proud of myself, even though that's only a little over what used to be my warm-up for a two hour workout.  Not a bad start after 14 years out of the pool.  Figured I'd soon plateau at about 2500 ( Read more... )

The previews for the new Star Trek movie looked weak at best.  It just didn't look like Star Trek.  So I was pretty ambivelant when my Mom wanted to go see it for Mom's Day.

OH MY GOD IT ROCKS.
