For a second I thought I would really love that kind of attention from my advisor - but on further thought, definitely no. Hooray for a compatriot!

Also definitely ignore anyone saying you must be a certain height to be a certain someone-else. (Though at least for Crawford you can wear tall shoes?)

As I started I was so excited to have such a motivated and enthusiastic supervisor... I was stupid naive. Also, I have this distinct feeling it's his project not mine and that's also something I don't like. It is so demotivating to have no free decisions on what's going on with "your" project x_x Argh. 8/10 would not recommend.

The girl who said that sure didn't mean it the bad way (I hope...), it's just quite deep-seated in the fandom that England is small and cute. And that's just ARGH! He and France have exactly the same height and yet, almost every fan-artist will present Arthur as the shorter one. And don't even get me started on the common USUk interpretation... Annoying. (sorry for the nagging ._.)

(Well, I am about 172 cm (5'7.7'') and I did wear hideous high shoes for some of the conventions. Oh well, I did it once (and it was awful :'D). Whyyyyyy. Well, I know *why* artistically, but why do people get so hung up on heights. There's really no reason! DO IT ANYWAY. Be the Taller England!

Nooo, you all look so good! But those shoes indeed look like they were horrible .____. Effective, probably (and one should always make the pecking order very clear!), but not one's first choice for comfort.
