An Update:
I have discovered, in recent weeks, that working out goes a long way toward making me feel better when The Sads attack. This has extra benefit in that if Owly needs me as Farf, and my sister needs me as Doitsu-ko, I am gonna need to improve some of these muscles. So bring it on, sads, I have a Plan.

the weirdest thing about growing up/older is the strange feeling as all the Oldest Generation slowly pass.
