*waves to everyone who is still around*
It's great to still see people prompting and writing :) We may have lost a few people on the way but we also had some new intake. Thanks for keeping this place alive!

Let's hope that conference season and the next election will help to pick up the pace a bit.

McBride/Campbell fight anonymous September 21 2013, 19:28:41 UTC
So it's all kicking off between Ali and Damian. First Alastair was bitching about him serializing his memoir in the Fail and asking if he was planning to donate the profits to the Labour Party, and then this happened:

‏@andyburnhammp: Here's my boots for game v press. Hope the rainbow laces work as well for me as they did for Bainsey! #RBGF pic.twitter.com/CgeK0UAORw

Someone takes the rainbow laces as a statement and first time sex happens. I don't care if it's BurnBalls, Burnham/Rotherham, or Burnham/whoever else is playing in the Labour vs press game.

It had been a good day. There had been football (admittedly they hadn’t scored), speeches that had been pretty good, and drink. Andy would have admitted that there had perhaps been a little more of the latter than he had originally intended, but that was alright for him. Or, at least, would have been alright if he didn’t have to drag Ed Balls back to his designated hotel room ( ... )

"We'll just end up choosing our leader according to who looks best in a swimsuit" anonymous September 23 2013, 16:19:28 UTC
Quote from today's Guardian from an article about 'Uglism' in politics.

Elsewhere someone asks .. which politician would look best in a swimsuit? and gets this reply:

Think Gove.

Think Pickles.

In bathing suits, oiling each other?

Dare anyone write this? Or - any other swimsuit pairings?

long prompt is long but I need cleggbell! anonymous September 23 2013, 17:35:51 UTC
after a bit of flirting and too much alcohol at the conference, Nicks got himself an admirer, a persistent, not taking no for an answer slightly intimidating admirer who doesn't even care when Nick tries the I have boyfriend line.

trying to put the man off before it goes to far, Nicks looking for someone suitably scary to act as his partner and put the fear of god into his pursuer.

Lib Dems are not exactly the scariest of people however, but when Nick spots Alastair Campbell (covering the conf for some tv show/paper) he gets a mad idea.

Now he just needs to get Alastair to act as his boyfriend without getting beaten up by either his admirer or Alastair.

Yellow Sweater anonymous September 23 2013, 20:31:46 UTC
So since his appearance on Newsnight former Downing St aide, Rohan Silva has been taking names and breaking hearts in his yellow jumper. This exchange on Twitter caught my eye:

Spotted @rohan__silva perched on a wall deep in conversation but v sadly not wearing his yellow jumper...

Rohan Silva ‏@rohan__silva 6h That jumper only comes out of the wardrobe for TV appearances, alas...

So anons, work your lolitical magic, why does Ro only wear the jumper for TV appearances? Is it a good luck charm from Steve? Did he buy it because it reminds him to let sunshine win the day? Cracky explanations or sentimental explanations welcome! OP also will not say no to sexy times with Ro wearing the yellow sweater.

MiniFill: Yellow Sweater anonymous September 30 2013, 10:30:53 UTC
He sees the sweater, bright canary yellow, not at all something he would gravitate to. Ro is fond of spicy oranges, brilliant reds and greens. The shades of yellow he prefers border closer to goldenrod. He ignores the looks as he chooses his size and checks out. He thinks of blue skies and California and Steve ( ... )

Oh, this is beautiful! I love how you have him buy it and hide it out of sight, unworn, as an irrational connection to Steve. And how you integrate all the comments on twitter, and the photomanip by Fake Nick Boles XD!

And then the heartbreaking last line: 'The sunshine left the country last year.' :(

But rumour has it Steve's in town to help with DC's conference speech - yes?
