I think Facebook and I are on the outs, and I only post pretty pictures and interesting quotes on Tumblr. Twitter is all right for mind blurts, but kfan reminded me that I like knowing about your life. Maybe you'd like to know about mine?

I've never really been able to get into Twitter or Tumblr, and Facebook just generated too much noise for my taste ever since their last update. I feel like I have to wade through so much just to get to the good stuff in those cases.

I am trying to organize a trip to Wild Water Kingdom, after hearing that they're now a salt water park (exciting!). I have water on the brain.

I'm watching The Business of Being Born, which is really interesting. I'm not preggo, but my sister is! Her baby's the size of an appleseed. She got married in July and said she wanted to be pregnant by her birthday. Her birthday's Saturday.

Your birthday is coming up soon! What are you going to do for it?

We moved to Michigan a couple of weeks ago. I'm job hunting, and Shane's in a library gig that he's really happy with so far. Michigan's great apart from the no job and missing friends part.

babies are amazing and crazy ass scary at the same time. i am starting to like them slowly more and more though. i met a little buddha when i moved back named Liam. he's about three months old now.

i'm a little disenchanted with facebook myself, so i can sympathize. most of my news stream there is silly quizzes, not much in the way of real content. i have been seriously contemplating deactivating my account but it is handy to keep in touch with family.

not much new with me. i'm going up to hamilton for canadian thanksgiving in lieu of christmas. i went to my first yankee game last night which is so much more exciting than having it as background noise on tv. i finally watched watchmen tonight and holy crap it is awesome! i should be reading more and writing more, but i haven't been..

watchmen is the best. i cry like a little girl with a skinned knee every time i see the opening montage.

i am glad you get to have two thanksgivings! hehehe.

i am going through my emotional adolescence, according to my shrink, which is just as much horrible fun as it sounds. but it's good, making lots of progress, hard work, but progress.... i no longer feel like a zombie any more.

My personal life is an intricate pavane of drama that revolves around me like a finely constructed brass orrery. It's more fun than it sounds. I have also had a spiritual epiphany and realized that I will do anything for cash.
