Last time it hit 80 in Portland? October 8, 2010. It has been 8 months of below average temps. A friend of mine that is originally from Kansas is moving back. There are a few reasons, but this 8 months of November weather pushed her over the edge. -

Merry X-mas Bubs!
I always feel funny with the greeting. Im not Christian, nor have I ever been. And "Happy Holidays" seems rather bland. So in the Spirit of the fat man doing a Breaking and Entering, regifting at will: Merry Christmas!

Work Change up
In a couple months I get to do my job from home. I am 1 of 7 people chosen (out of hundreds) for a pilot program. I won't be going back to the office except for meetings. Ever. This reality hasn't hit me yet. I've been going to the same building for 25 years. I'm curious as to how my perspective will change.
