Great job Mama! I've always thought the first night of CIO is always the worst. So here's hoping tonight is even better!

I also had a "wake up" time that I found acceptable to go get Ben. It was 5 am too I think. Anytime after 5 am was acceptable to come into our bed to snuggle/nurse/etc. Anytime before that was CIO. I know a lot of people think it is harsh, but for us CIO was the ONLY thing that worked!

I have those same 'talks' with Kade...haha! 'You can do it, just sleep till 1 and mommy will be happy.'

Nope! Last night he woke up at 11 (rather than his usual 12). Luckily I was still awake I didn't 'feel' it. He woke up at 2 but I sent Neil to put his pacificer in and that got him back to sleep. He woke up at 4:15 again and I fed him and then he just didn't want to go back to sleep. So I brought him to bed and he slept till 6. Man, and today he has had NO naps. I am exhausted!

6 am was the magic time for me! I remember thinking, when she'd wake at 6 am, "ok. We made it through another day."

I hope it continues to go well. I have a real hard time sleeping in anticipation of waking, too. Rough! But she's doing well!!

The magic time can fall between 5 and 6 for me and I'd be fine.
