There are these violet-flavored candies that actually taste like the smell of violets. You'd think that wouldn't have surprised me, since it was labeled and all, but all of a sudden, it was like I was eating perfume or potpourri or something. All the bells in my head went off about "Poison! This is something you should smell but not ingest!"
