I just had a random thought. Does Harry still having feeling in his face? Does he feel things like water and material against his face or are his nerves dead? Because if he had no nerves then maybe the ridges could be sanded down.....

Nice twist with Scorpius. I had a feeling that's were you were going to go because only something that extreme would make Draco change.

The feeling varies. At times he can feel liquid and the like on the flat patches of skin between the ridges, but he probably couldn't distinguish between, say, water and blood. And the ridges are less sensitive than that.
