Draco could make more of an effort to listen to Luna, really he could. But alas, it's a novelty for him to be interested in Harry as a person...which sort of implies that he simply hasn't paid enough attention to his subjects before this.

God, I love Luna. How is she just so awesome? You write her really well.

And I feel sort of bad for Draco, he won't get to do what he wants, but he's learning something more about himself and Harry, so its all good in the end. Of course, the question now is to whether or not Harry will let him back into his social graces, especially since Draco screwed up so royally before. I wonder, I wonder. :) Time will tell!

I do hope Draco sticks by his decision not to write the book, but just choses to get to know Harry better, purely for the sake of knowing him.

I suspect he's got a hard road ahead of him though, persuading Harry to open up.
