excellent action, lots of magick in the mix, this is a really exciting piece, I hope it goes on awhile.

Thank you!

Not sure how long it will be at the moment. Harry and Draco find out who the criminal is pretty quickly, but handling the crime is a different matter.

“You’re stupid. Brave, but stupid.”

For a split second I thought Harry was going to sweep him into a rough embrace and snog the life out of him. Then I realised that was just wishful thinking...for now!

I'm still loving this story, and am glad to see the beginnings of a relationship between Harry and Draco, even if it is only a working one.

Yes, for now. It's early days for that yet, when Harry still doesn't completely trust Draco.

And thank you.

Great....it seems like his compulsion to write a story is superceded by his need to have attention from Harry...maybe he can just write the book for himself and not have it published?

Thank you!

Maybe so, but that would still involve Harry giving Draco details that he wants to keep from everyone.

ooh the plot thickens (excuse my pun, LOL), I've just read the first 6 chapters and I must say this is a really interesting career for Draco, I think initially he wrote to work out his feelings/demons of the war but now actually enjoys what he does. I don't doubt that he will keep trying to write Harry's story but depending the outcome of *the letter writer* whether he will be successful and I'm really interested to find out what visions Harry is seeing. That was very Slytherin of Draco to try flushing out the *letter writer* and I love the Labyrinth, what a brilliant way to get into the club.

Thank you!

Draco reveals some more of his background and reasons for writing in the next chapter. Originally, though, he did begin to write for himself.

Draco's plan was Slytherin, but his implementation of it was a bit Gryffindor!

this is a wonderful story. And i'm so glad that you had Draco decide not to write the book, it was at that moment the story really gained character, i look foward to reading more.

ps. I'd love to see you speak to how Draco came to be who he is in the story now. I love your Hary, he's exactly how i pictured he would turn out, and its easy to see how he got there. Draco is more complicated. Because he was a fairly one demensional chracter for Rolling, until the very end, it is harder to see how he got from there to the person he is now in the story. Because of this its a little hard to belive in who his chracter is now, if only b/c we, the readers, didn't get to see him get there. Perhaps Harry is having the same problem.

Thank you!

Draco does explain some of his own background in the next chapter. Part of the problem is that he's comfortable with who he is and it's been a long time (sixteen years) since the war, so he doesn't spend a lot of time thinking about the change anymore.
