Could it be his impulsive irrational nature that had gotten Sirius to fall through the veil and countless other mistakes in the past? I really have no idea and I like it that way so that when you finally reveal it to us I would be like lsjfshfksdlgjdlkgjdlkgjsldkgjslkdgjdsl OMG
( ... )
Well, I hope you will still react with delight even if your guesses have been close! There is at least one side to this that no one has gotten correct so far, and that's the nature of the Incident.
Look at it this way: Diggory is running for Minister. Even without someone like Cordelia behind him, he could cause an awful lot of trouble for Harry and Draco.
Draco's touch was comforting to Harry, even though Draco mostly did it in order to feel comforted himself.
Damn it I 'm dying not knowing what this" anything worse could happen" can be! I think Harry should lay off that potion for a bit he seemed more human without it than under it's influence.A bit crazed but at least he seemed to finaly express his emotions.
Oh, you'll see in the end. Or, at least, get told about it.
And that's a good point, one Draco will probably make later. Not that it necessarily convinces Harry that not drinking the potion is a good thing, of course.
So the potion seems to dampen any lust he might feel. And generally lessens all those other distracting emotions... thus making Potion!Harry more focussed on his brewing and ignorant of the danger it can pose. And without it he's a criminal? Hmm. I think I'm still stumped. All these clues! And all of them leading in different directions!
I love this story! Absolutely love it. I started reading it late, because I was bogged down with editing and work and other such stuff, but once I started, I couldn't stop!
AND...I totally know why Cordelia freaks people out. She reminds me of Umbridge, who is creepy personified. *shudders* In canon, I hate her more than any other character, INCLUDING Voldemort.
Hm. That's an interesting reason for Cordelia to freak people out. I don't think she's quite as cruel; at least she doesn't have a pink jumper and kittens!
Ah! This is the Harry I miss and love! Knowing Draco, he just has to Harry without the potion. I don't know quite what the potion removes--it seems like Harry's very spirit, the fire that makes Harry--but I am predicting that Harry will stop taking it by the end of the chapter :) And it was nice to know that Harry isn't asexual haha.
By the end of the story, you mean? Well, it would take a lot of persuasion to get him to do that. He honestly does fear what he's like without the potion.
Oh, no, Harry isn't asexual; he's just very laid-back about it.
