Poor Draco! The whole memory charm situation is just sick. I didn't understand the reference to the trident & net or when Draco said Harry wasn't capable of that?
Anyways, Harry is going to be furious when he finds out...I wonder if that jealous reaction with Ginny will be repeated? Ah, the drama.
As for Harry's announcement...I wonder how this will effect his public reputation. That really showed how much he cares about Draco.
I'm surprised that Draco hasn't been thinking about Harry as date-able. It seems like Harry is always thinking that way now, but Draco hasn't at all.
I'm not sure what you mean by "Draco said Harry wasn't capable of that," but the trident and the net was in reference to a game Daphne made Draco play.
Harry truly isn't jealous. But he is protective.
I think it's one of the only ways that Harry can show he cares about Draco right now, since he's on the potion suppressing so much. And that's the reason Draco hasn't thought about dating Harry, either. He knows it's not a possibility as long as Harry is on the potion, and right now he can't see a way to convince Harry to get off it.
haha. Don't mind me! I went back and looked at the paragraph that had me confused...I realized I had skipped two whole sentences! Now it makes sense :)
I am so glad no one is around when I see this is updated! :D I was so happy to see this. Great chapter. It started out so intense. It's making me so mad. I can't wait until Harry finds out and see what he does or how he reacts. woohoo! Love this!
God, I can't wait for Harry to learn about Daphne! Not that Draco's 'dating' her, but what's really going on. I wonder who Harry will be more angry at, Draco for letting her do that or Daphne for doing that to Draco. I loved how pissed Harry was about the person who hurt Draco, or maybe pissed is not the right word. Does he feel any kind of anger, or does the potion suppress that emotion entirely?
Aw, smitten Harry is so cute! But Draco won’t have anything to do with him as long as he takes the potion. Harry should know, he wants a mature, calm relationship with controlled passion… while Draco is an artist. Granted, Harry would argue something along the lines that Draco could poured his passion into his work, but it doesn’t work like that.
I was surprised with Ginny’s actions (plus I’ve never expected to see her there). I wonder what she intended to do, and why.
Harry will be angry at both of them, but probably more angry at Daphne. However, since Draco is going to be sullenly prideful, not explain much at first, and refuse to stop "dating" Daphne, Harry will be irritated at him, too.
He can feel irritation. What he doesn't feel is rage.
Harry just thinks about Draco's artistry as something he admires about Draco. He doesn't automatically think that Draco will look for something similar in his partner. In fact, he probably thinks that Draco will enjoy being the calm one in the pairing, so he can throw drama fits and Harry can take care of him.
Ginny explains her motivations in the next chapter.
Great chapter! Poor Draco. I don't even want to know what Daphne did to him. I loved the scenes in Draco's shop - clever and fast-paced. And oh poor foolish Ginny - somehow she always comes out of it just looking like a silly little girl.

In a way, I'm grateful for the PG-13 writing I gave this story, because I think hinting at what Daphne did is more effective.
I'm glad you liked the shop scenes. Ginny's arrival was something of a surprise for me, but it does tie in to what I have planned for her.
