I don't have much to say other than I like this chapter. So I liked it! And that I guess it takes Harry a while to figure out that it's Daphne Draco's seeing because I get the feeling he doesn't say. I can't wait for more.
So far, Draco has only told Harry that he has an investor interested in giving them the money to pay off Cordelia's debts. Harry has no idea about Daphne.
Argh...Poor Ginny, she's such a confused little person. I'm surprised by how scared of him she truly is. He...didn't do anything really bad at all. So being slightly frightened is understandable, but a full blown panic attack after so long just from being in his presence? She needs the Desire potion more than he does, that is for sure. :o
( ... )
She has a phobia of Harry, in a way. It doesn't matter how long it is since you almost fell off a cliff; if you have a phobia of heights severe enough, you can still panic when you're a foot off the ground on a stool. (I should know).
Harry wasn't happy about standing up to Ginny, and wouldn't have done it if he had a choice. But his liking for Draco is strong enough to overcome that.
I'm glad you liked the scene with Daphne. I'm not sure what Harry can do to her, really, since she is so powerful and rich.
And I'm glad you liked the Fool's saffron change. Magic doesn't always have to be flashy.
Well. Well. Well. Harry just revealed that he used the potion that's the base for Desire and showed his support for Draco publicly - and in front of Ginny, no less. Their conversation after would be mighty interesting.
Poor Draco. Even if he is getting a lot of sex, it' still with a sadistic woman who likes to play with memory charms. Freaky. BUT I did love the picture you painted of Daphne Greengrass. She's powerful, seductive and dangerous. A heady combination. Too bad it's Draco since I only really want him with Harry. But your Daphne is compelling...but scary.
And Theo Nott. I didn't see him coming, though it's kind of obvious isn't it, with Cordelia being a Nott. =)

Oh man, how long does Draco have to provide his 'services' for Daphne? I love how Harry's all angry at whoever caused the limp.
Sorry, this review is so disjointed. Much love to you anyway!

Draco thinks he can bore Daphne soon. I wouldn't count on it.

Hermione will, I hope, continue to be awesome.

Draco would complain that he can't remember the sex, so it's just like he had none at all. :)
Daphne is meant to be scary, oh yes. She could be politically dangerous if she cared about anything beyond gratifying her own desires.
Theo is kind of hapless in this story. But he does show up again.
Glad you're enjoying it!
