Was fantastic. Im really glad that it wasnt canceled due to the swine flu. However, they band couldnt spit water into the crowed tonight. I was happy for about 2 seconds until they started throwing it and using water guns.

Just wait until one day when I throw water right back.

Well everyone has been running around in a panic, and face masks (the kind you wear to prevent spreading disease and not the haloween kind) are sold out everywhere.

Well, the swine flu has infected one high school student in Kobe now, and so classes in the Osaka area have been canceled for all students. This means our exams are canceled when half are still left to be taken...I'm not sure if i'm happy or not about this. I love not taking exams, but I also wonder if it's detrimental to my grade...Also, our ( Read more... )

Saturday and Sunday were spent Sakura viewing.

Saturday I went to Daikoku Tera with friends and then headed back to the gion shijo area to sit and drink under the trees. : )
Sunday was spent in Himeji to see Himeji castle- the only "authentic" castle remaining in Japan, which was also flooded with sakura viewies.

Today I went to Wakayama for a BBQ with japanese and gaijin friends. We ate and drank alot, and finished the day with a trip to the beach. In the joy of the moment, everyone went running through the water, but in the end it made a cold and wet car ride home, haha.
