A little while ago I advertised some Man From UNCLE zines for sale on various LJ communities and Yahoo groups. I had a response from someone in the States who said she would like to buy three of the zines, so I packaged them up and trundled off to the Post Office to get a postage price. Why do people put in an order for something and then just forget about it? Or take so long to respond? I wish I knew. I also wish there was a list somewhere so that sellers could avoid the hassle. Not holding my breath on that one. *g*
One thing, does the UK have a website where you can buy your own postage? The US one allows you to weigh, pay for, and print out postage. I don't know what I'd do without it (well, I know, but it would be a real pain.)

That's the annoying thing! It would take less than a minute to send a one-line email saying "Thanks for asking, but I no longer want the zines." Not much of an effort required, is there?

Yes, you can do that online here. Problem is that my kitchen scales are too small to stand anything zine-sized on, and my bathroom scales aren't very accurate for weighing smallish items! I've never liked to take a chance on weighing things myself in case I underestimate the cost - I'd be mortified if a buyer ended up having to pay excess postal charges!

Luckily I've managed to sell all the Pros zines that I'd decided to dispose of, but the Man From UNCLE ones don't seem to be so popular.
Pros fans obviously have better taste! *g*
