A little while ago I advertised some Man From UNCLE zines for sale on various LJ communities and Yahoo groups. I had a response from someone in the States who said she would like to buy three of the zines, so I packaged them up and trundled off to the Post Office to get a postage price. I wrote and told this person how much the zines plus postage

My rule is the first paypal cash I get receives the zines. :) But then you're much nicer than I am! Impulse buying is what you need to snag. LOL! I also have the package already weighed so I can tell the buyer how much that minute by checking the on line pricing. That way they send their money within ten or fifteen minutes of asking before they change their mind. *bad kat*

My problem is my lack of weighing equipment at home, only a titchy set of kitchen scales or the bathroom scales, which are only suitable for weighing larger items (ie me!).

I've advertised them on LJ and Yahoo a couple of times now with very little response. I think I'm going to have to go down the Ebay route.

That sounds a real pain - my sympathies.

I have been the naughty non-responsive one in the past, but I have been very embarrassed when that has happened. And your post is a good reminder to me never to do it again!
