seriously, you could be worse off :)
there's nothing wrong with not being the best--it makes you strive to be better and gives you something to work for. just think, if you were at the top, the only place for you to go is down.

stop comparing yourself to upperclassmen and grad students. i went to a biology symposium, put on by the seniors, last spring and was SO intimidated and felt so small; mostly because i understood about every 20th word that came out of their mouths.

point: DON'T WORRY. you'll get there, we all will. don't dwell in the "what if's." that'll bring you down so quickly. i've been doing it a lot lately (for another reason) but trust me, don't start. it's hard to stop.

you're right. every once in a while, i just get knocked back a little bit. but... i love it here. i wouldn't leave for the world. just need to get it out every once in a while. :)
