Well, that sucks. Any chance of getting a cash card instead? That way at least you should be able to have people calling in even when you run out of money.
I would talk to the company, tell them the situation, and try to negociate something. I ended up being smacked in the face and boot fucked right in the ass with an over $400 cell phone bill that turned into a $600(early termination fee)bill and Verizon was still willing to negociate. Though if none of this can happen...well, just think of my old situation and maybe you'll feel better; especially since mine was technically an agent at Verizon's fault...didn't fully explain everything about roaming. Anyhoo, give it a go and see what happens:) Oh and the credit bit? I wouldn't worry about it too much...I've gotten 2 credit cards, no problems what so ever after all this happened; but the fact that they asked for the HOUSEHOLD income and not for mine specifically did indeed make a difference, since I make nothing...well, nothing that really counts anyhoo...
