have you tried talking to your mum?

problem there is i havent seen my mum for over 6 weeks. she is in scarbourgh with grandma+grandad, grandad had an operation. and even if i did say anything to her, her usual answer is 'go ask your dad'

Unfortunately, no matter how good your relationship is with either of your parents, they'll never really know you as well as you know yourself. I'm very close with my mother, but when I talk to her about stuff for my future she really doesn't comprehend things. Like, when I wanted to talk to her about me delaying my graduation, and maybe taking up a minor or something, she heard none of it. Sometimes its like talking to a wall. I can't even talk to my father.

How old are you? If you don't mind me asking. I'm 23. I guess I assume that everone on the Beta board is my age or older.
