A look at Buffy Season 2
So I finally finished season two of Buffy. This season was slow to started, but about halfway through it finally got on track and the show started to take off. Looking back over the season I think what made it go from “meh” to “interesting” was the characters and the dynamic between each other. Buffy: Season One review
I just completed Season One of Buffy the Vampire Slayer. I have to say at most it was decent, maybe up there with The Ghost Whisperer or Wearhouse Thirteen. I know it wasn't one of the "Big Four" networks (i.e. CBS, NBC, Fox, ABC) and for a UPN/WB Network show it's production is decent, though some of the CGI was just awful, but I suppose a lot of ( Read more... ) -

Writer's Block: I'm off to see the wizard
The Wizard (1989) starring Fred Savage, Christian Slater, and Beau Bridges was basically a 90-minute commercial for Nintendo and let them preview Super Mario Bros. 3, which to my seven-year-old fomer self, was the greatest thing ever. So, I have Moo Goo Gai Pan leftovers in my fridge from Sunday, Feb 28th. Is it still safe to eat? Yes or no? -
Doctor! Doctor! Give me the news...
I went to see my doctor yesterday, I hadn't seen him since before I got laid off in June '08, I think I saw him sometime in March or April '08, so nearly 2 years. I got poked and prodded, got an EKG and all that fun stuff. I had blood work done and the phlebotomist took four vials of blood, plus I had to pee in a cup! ;-) He's referred me to get a ( Read more... ) -
