Fifty Seven - Danishes, Cakes, and Pies, Oh my!

I'm going to end up smelling nothing but shortening and cocoa for the next few weeks but it's not really that bad. I have to say I prefer working in the back though.

How has everyone else's jobs been?

Well, yeah. It does... and I'd certainly prefer to smell that rather than what mold may still be lingering after the flood.

Oh I will. I'll be making most of them tomorrow though right before I get ready to go back on the bus again so they'll be even more fresh and warm by the time we get back.

Mine's been amazing! Working with animals day in and out is fair tiring, but worth it.

Pastries to be exact. It's really nice to get experience with. I never knew how to correctly make a croissant nevermind one that could actually change colors.

I would imagine so. What kinds of animals are you taking care of?

Oh! That sounds hard; I know I don't know how to make a croissant at all. D'you want to be a pastry chef?

Well there are normal Muggle animals, like giraffes and elephants, but there're also Crups, and pixies, and other magical creatures. No creatures with human traits, which is a good thing. I never knew that pixies were such picky eaters.

Croissant's are fairly tricky, but I actually want to be an Auror. I figured I needn't shadow one though. Once I graduate and go to test for the Auror Academy there I'll get plenty of experience there. And this seemed better than most other jobs.

They keep giraffes and pixies in the same place? I didn't know that. And how picky are they?

Why would you want a picture? Besides, if you do that I'll just have to give you your cream puffs what I made for you early.
