i owe a couple people gifts promised well before the holiday season & will be making good very soon.

here are a couple of self portraits taken this morning outside my summer home (the bus stop @ 51st ave & mcdowell).
i'm squinting in both because it was already hot & bright outside. yeah, i know... but mostly because of the sun.

for real. it's very revealing seeing myself from the outside, so serious... so that's why people don't like me. reality is very intense & complex w/o medications or booze. it usually takes a few drinks for me to spontaneously smile. or a manic episode.

actually, you aren't far off... when i catch myself being serious, i think of nudies or doing something goofy & sometimes i do it.
