This has taken close to three hours of research and math so, with limited time, I'll just add this for now.

Since our aggregate divorce rate is 22 percent lower than the
Christian Coalition's, we get a bunch of happy families. You get a
bunch of single moms.

Divorce rates can be calculated either way - It's a convenient way of skewing the facts.
