Well where I live the trees aren't really changing. Some are giving up a nice yellow though. The little kids (3-5 y.o.)are playing soccer in the half field of astro turf they have in the complex. The fountain is still on but I have been told that it will be turned off soon. It's really pretty at night.
Chicago has seen better autumns and right now the sky is gray, cloudy and cold; about 35. There are a moderate but not a lot of leaves on the ground, most are yellow. The red maples and trees still have there leaves but it wont be long before there gone. There are still some plants and impatiens in my back yard that are hanging on but look frozen. My mum plant came up lovely and is very full with lavender buds that have already burst open two weeks ago and haven’t falling off the plant yet. I still wonder if I will have to mow again one last time. I think its time for pumpkin muffins.
Here in Phoenix it has finally cooled off into the 80's. the sun is shining and everything looks green again rather than yellow and dried out. Beautiful weather.
