I'm finally feeling like I'm doing well financially, and that's not something I'm used to. I'd been accustomed to struggling and scraping by with little to no margin or error. Being able to occasionally do things for myself was usually something I did solely out of my tax refund (which is basically a 0% involuntary savings account

It's more than a possibility, it's an inevitability. Just sooner than waiting for my father to die and me to inherit / sell his.

It's good to not be the fuckup child. I know he loves my sister, but she's just one of those people that keeps doing the same stupid things with her life, so I know he won't leave it (the house) to her. I told him that he should feel free to leave her his car since I had no interest in it.
