The city of Chicago is doing a controlled burn on the banks of the Chicago River.

...the river that's right under my window.

I feel like I'm in Farenheit 451, where the firemen actually set fires instead of putting them out. They're using flame throwers and such, and its really fun to watch.

So yeah, it's been awhile. The end of vacation was AMAZING. Went to NH, hung out with my sister (yay!) then went skiing with Darrin and his family on Friday (yay!) and spent the rest of the weekend watching Family Guy marathons, going to youth group (finally), the GMYSO concert (which sounded good) and trying to make a cake flop.
